General hardware is the broadest and, in many ways, most important category in a hardware shop — the items that every trade reaches for daily but rarely plans ahead for. Maimoon's general hardware section covers the everyday needs of worksites, workshops, and homes across Kondhwa and Pune, from V-belts and tapes to safety gear and small parts.

V-belts are one of Maimoon's strongest stock lines. Power transmission V-belts (also called drive belts) are used in pumps, compressors, fans, agricultural equipment, and industrial machinery. Available in standard cross-sections (A, B, C, D, SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC) and a wide range of lengths, these are a high-demand item — machines break in the field, and a V-belt that's a day away on order is a day of downtime. Having standard sizes in stock is the point.

Tapes and sealing materials cover packing tapes, PTFE thread seal tape, electrical insulation tape, self-amalgamating tape, fibre reinforced tape, and double-sided tapes for various substrates — the consumables that every worksite uses continuously. Small parts bins at Maimoon carry nuts, bolts, washers, split pins, cotter pins, and machine screws in working stock — the minor hardware that can hold up a job when not available locally.

Safety consumables include gloves, dust masks, safety glasses, and basic PPE for site and workshop use. The general hardware wall display at the shop carries the variety of everyday items — hinges, hooks, hasps, eyes, rings, and fittings — that don't fit neatly into other categories but are needed regularly.

Maimoon has served contractors, fabricators, and individual buyers from Katraj-Kondhwa Road since 2002. The combination of in-stock V-belts in non-standard sizes and the broad general hardware range makes it a useful single stop for site managers working through a procurement list.
